primary objective is to facilitate the users in accessing the bibliographic
collection, being books or periodic publications through the services

- MONOGRAPH AND SPECIAL MATERIALS
UNIT.
• It is in charge of acquiring
all of the bibliographic material and documents ( books, microfiles, microfilms,
videos, cassettes, disks, CD-ROMs, DVDs, maps, etc.) that are requested
for by the University Community.
• This service takes care of all of the administrative and management
labor that is involved in the acquisition of bibliographic material.
• It also is in charge of the exchange of UCH-CEU scientific publications.

- SERIAL PUBLICATIONS UNIT.
• Takes care of the subscriptions,
and control of the University's series publications.
• Establishes the serial publications catalog and keeps it up
to date with the cooperaiton of the Technical Process and Normalization
Unit.
• Provides informtaion on new subscriptions, cancelations and
adquisitions of serial publications. You have the entire University's
serial publications collection at your disposition.
- JOURNALISTIC PERIODICAL
LIBRARY UNIT.
This service helps the users in
the consultation of the press in different areas:
• National, provincial, economic,
sports, and foreign newspapers.
• General information magazines.
• Official Bulletins (BOE, BORME y el DOGV).

This service is in charge of:
• the technical processing of documents which include their registry,
introduction in the catalog and documental classification, independently
of the medium and form of acquisition.
• coordination and maintenance of the automated catalog and management
system of the library’s database

that are not found in our Library. It also provides existent documents
from our collection to other libraries that solicit them. You can ask
for periodical publications (magazines, series, etc.) in different formats
(original or copy).
